Fantastic new food business in Islington.
I met Marisa of Hubbub Online/Highbury barn deliveries yesterday and she has started a great Islington business that brings local food to local people. If you never seem to get to those shops that are only round the corner, or you want something great for dinner and are so over the bland supermarket offerings you can order for delivery the same day. I am certainly going to be getting some cheese delivered very soon (the only thing that is as good as cake is cheese!)

The joy of making cakes to order is that no two orders are the same. Navy cupcakes for Geoffrey’s birthday party, cupcakes for a party at the Make Lounge – with the names of all the girls attending. And pirate and princess themed cupcakes – that was a fun order (I have an as yet unrealised ambition to make a huge pirate ship shaped cake – any takers?)
